Diagnostic Radiologist Breast Imaging (6022)
Description:
Clinically, this position focuses on supporting breast health in Calgary and the surrounding areas, with an emphasis on breast imaging and procedures. This role will include evening and overnight coverage, as well as call responsibilities for EFW AHS sites.
Because this position is based out of the FMC primarily, there would be a heavy focus on teaching for both residents and fellows. The instruction would not only include view box teaching, rounds and lectures, but also consultation support for breast health services and involvement at the AJCCCC.
As academic radiologists, we acknowledge and agree that research is important and that it is our goal to participate in meaningful research initiatives. It is intended that this radiologist position should foster strategic relationships through collaborative educational and research endeavors in both the body and breast imaging subspecialty.
Currently, there are upcoming retirements within the Practice and we are in need of seasoned replacements to fill those gaps as they arise.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. FRCPC (Diagnostic Radiology), and Radiology Fellowship Training.
- Must read, write and speak English.
