Alberta Health Services Department of Family Medicine and the East Edmonton Heath Centre Family Care Clinic is inviting applications from physicians interested in providing Family Medicine Care/primary care to marginalized, complex patients. The facility is funded by an ARP and there is an immediate need for qualified personnel with good communication skills. There is a salaried 0.5-1.0 FTE position available with a start date as soon as possible.. In addition, we welcome applications for locum interest during the recruitment process.
The clinic offers patients access to an interdisciplinary primary care team including family physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and social workers.
On-site lab and DI are available. Clinic operations are fully computerized with the launch of Connect Care in November of 2019. Other co-located programs at EEHC include Public Health Services, Addictions and Mental Health, Adult and Children’s Home Care and Social Services.
This is a combined clinical practice and teaching environment and successful candidates will be encouraged to hold clinical appointments in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Successful candidates will also be expected to become members of the North Edmonton Primary Care Network.

The successful applicant shall have or be eligible for certification in Family Medicine with the Canadian College of Family Physicians and hold active licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta with acceptable experience in Family Medicine.
