General Internal Medicine - Grande Prairie
INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN - GRANDE PRAIRIE: The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital is seeking an Internal Medicine (Generalist) Specialist Physician to join the internal medicine physician group in Grande Prairie - Grande Prairie Regional Hospital - VIRTUAL TOUR
FRCSC (Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons Canada) designation is required.
The Internal Medicine specialist physician will have Alberta Health Services hospital privileges.
This position will include in-patient internal medicine hospital on-call, with opportunity to participate in the "reading pool" for ECG's and opportunity to perform Exercise Stress Testing (with CPSA approval).
Duties include but not limited to:
• Reside in and have as his/her primary residence, Grande Prairie
• Establish and maintain a full time community based practice within the community
• Provide internal medicine in-patient hospital and call assistance as required
• Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities
• Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned.
The successful candidate may choose to operate their business by joining an existing practice or by opening their own practice. This is the candidate's business choice and will not be managed through the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications:
- Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
